Who Pays for Climate Change in Pakistan?
When we talk about climate change, we talk about carbon, degrees, and disasters. We rarely talk about who is left to pick up the pieces.
In Pakistan – one of the most climate-vulnerable countries in the world – the price of a flood, a heatwave, or a failed crop is not paid equally.
In this discussion, we ask: What happens to women’s livelihoods when the fields dry up or the water takes everything? How does climate stress fuel conflict, migration and insecurity at home? And why are the voices most affected by the crisis the least heard in climate policy?
Join us as we move beyond the headlines to explore the deeply gendered reality of climate change – where livelihood, survival, and peace are all at stake.
