Breast Cancer: Could You Be at Risk?
Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting women in Pakistan, yet many women discover it only when the disease has reached an advanced stage. Lack of awareness, delayed diagnosis and the high cost of treatment can turn a treatable disease into a life-threatening one.
But how much do we really know about our own risk?
What increases the risk of breast cancer? Which signs and symptoms should never be ignored? When should a woman seek medical advice, and what role do screening and early detection play? And why do so many women in Pakistan still struggle to access timely and affordable treatment?
In this conversation, Dr. Rafia Toor will be in conversation with Dr. Rabia Bhatti, and explore breast cancer risk, early detection, treatment and the barriers that prevent women from receiving the care they need.
