Theatre Wally (TW) and The Black Hole bring you a 3-month Acting Class. Since it is a rigorous course, we advise that you enroll only if you are serious about acting.
The training will focus on preparing an actor primarily for theater performance, yet it would include key lessons on acting for TV/film. It would focus on the following:
- Actor’s Body (Stamina, Breath, Voice)
- Stage/Camera Needs
- Team Building/Coordination
- Dialogue Delivery
- Improv Games
- Characterization
- Script Analysis (Character Analysis/Scene Analysis)
- Preparing a Monologue
- Preparing a short scene/skit
Note 1: The class involves lots of physical activity, and almost zero lectures.
Note 2: Punctuality is a must for the students and the teacher.
The course would end with a public performance of the scenes/monologues prepared during the course of the Acting Class.
By attending the Acting Class, you will:
