Book Launch: Ukraine War – Beyond The Headlines
Ukraine War – Beyond the Headlines goes beyond daily news and battlefield updates to examine the deeper origins and global consequences of the conflict. It traces the historical grievances, NATO expansion, Russia’s security concerns, and Ukraine’s strategic choices that led to the war, while analysing the roles and interests of the US, Europe, China, and international institutions.
Written from a South Asian perspective, the book looks at the human and economic costs, the limits of sanctions, information wars, failed diplomacy and missed opportunities for settlement, and invites readers to consider alternative narratives and the prospects for peace in a rapidly changing world order.
