Before We Give Up: A Conversation About Suicide, Hope & Reasons to Stay
Suicide is often surrounded by silence, fear and stigma. Yet behind the word are people experiencing pain that may feel overwhelming, isolating and impossible to escape. When we avoid talking about suicide, we may also miss opportunities to listen, understand and offer support.
This conversation is an invitation to break that silence and start the conversation. What happens when someone feels there is no way forward? What can help a person hold on through moments of intense despair? How do connection, compassion, professional support and a sense of meaning create pathways back to hope?
