Theatre, Society and the Human Experience
Shakespeare famously suggested that “all the world’s a stage” but if life itself is a kind of performance, what does theatre allow us to see that everyday life often does not?
In this conversation, we explore theatre as far more than entertainment or performance. Theatre can be a way of understanding human emotions, questioning the world around us, imagining alternative realities and making sense of the complex social worlds we inhabit.
